A single bell can realise both conventional and proximity coating. The applicator-to-workpiece distance ranges from 50 mm to 250 mm and, depending on the shape of the workpiece, either mode can be selected.
Efficiency
Up to 95% transfer efficiency. For proximity coating the theoretical coating efficiency is 100%; actual transfer efficiency for various shapes is expected to improve by 15% to 20% compared with conventional coating (results from our lab).
